First Weekend in Auckland

First Saturday and I am heading to the West!! *boooyeaaaa* The weather turns warm and I think I should try Piha beach and Muruwai beach and Gannet Colony, since it's at the same area. Thank god for car!!!~ No wonder everyone says it's good to have a car in New Zealand, because it is so convenient. Too bad I'm just a solo traveller, don't think I have enough money to get one yet.

Meal was yummy but the portion is really too huge for me alone. I blame it on Stepheney the Bitch for not joining this trip. >___<

After brunch, I continue my journey to Piha beach, which the road feels like driving in Batu Ferringhi. LOL! Stop in a pit-stop and snap more picciesss.

That's why I'm having sunburn. Is cold because of the wind, but the sun is BURNING!

After being salted fish for a few hours in Piha beach, continue my drive to Muruwai beach and Gannet Colony. All the beaches here are dog friendly. Is so relaxing to just lay down and watch the family playing frisbee with their dogs.

Walk a little bit up and there's the Gannet (I just happened to know it's a type of bird)



A colony of Gannet is actually quite creepy, as they stay at the right spot with the right space between them


Due to the very poor internet connection, I won't be able to upload more photos because it took me overnight just to upload these pictures. Nothing to complain, since I already have a WiFi, better than a lot of places.

Went back to Auckland City for light dinner before I head to my backpacker's hostel. One of the famous dessert shop in Auckland, OKO!






Yes, the dark chocolate drink is definitely to die for, so far in Auckland.

Finally checked in to YHA Auckland International!!~ Surprisingly, it's soooooo MUCH more better than my expectation!!~ The place is so well equipped and clean! Oh yea, and I got a free upgrade! From 4 Female Dorm to a Twin Room, without a roomie!! Yesh, so I am left alone here. T___T

It's a lazy Sunday for me. Joyce said my blog got too many words, I thought I already simplified everything! HAHAHA! Well, I walked all the way to K Road for brunch and it happened to be that Sunday everything closes. So, I walked even further and I ended up in Ponsonby!!~ Lotsa people jogging and walking their dogs. I saw a guy walking a black pomeranian, just like Guinness!! (Ok, maybe Guinness is more black than his).






 By the time, I'm done with brunch and walked back, it's already dinner time. T___T

So, I skipped dinner and hang out at the lounge looking at people cooking. I did thought of trying to cook, but I might need to find some friends to share the ingredients, or else it's going to be more expensive than I eat out. @_@


Internet was pretty bad today. Hope all my photos are done by the time I wake up tomorrow. ^_^ Finally gotta meet my personal banker tomorrow! *weeeeee*
