Little City Escapade

It's August!! And good news................................... *jiang jiang jiang* I got a new job! So, I'm moving back to KL temporary. Honestly, I hope the government announce another CMCO or MCO since the number of cases has been rising. Then, I can work from home and come back to Penang with my baby again. HAHAHA!!!~ The only reluctant part for me in getting this job offer is to be apart from the little bubz for so long and only be able to meet him on weekend. Well, although the salary is not much but it's soomewhere that I can start building my career again. *cross-fingers* hopefully everything goes smoothly!!

Apart from that, I also landed myself on a freelance job, translation of financial statements. Thank goodness I understand financial statements or else it's gonna be a tough time for me to do the CHINESE - ENGLISH translation. Yes, coming from a "banana"! And I managed to complete it within the short time frame it's given by burning 3 midnight oil. HAHAHA!!~

So, to reward myself. I went over to Penang for ice-cream. I saw the advertisement of this small cafe in instagram a few times and I really wanna try the ice-cream. Honestly, the ice-cream is nice, but........... I didn't expect it to be so small. HEHEHE!

My cousins and I had our 2nd session of ARTSY-CRAFTY. This time is a Diamond Stickers, and it's much faster and therapeutic than embroidery. LOL! Maybe because my patience level is limited.

By the end of our session, we only managed to complete half of it, which is much muchhhhhh more than the embroidery. *shhhhh* I haven't even completed the embroidery yet. So, let's hope this one I can complete it faster than the embroidery.

My first time dining out after MCO/CMCO/RMCO. Honestly, I love the food because it's something different from my homecook food. But maybe I'm used to homecook food for such a long time. I had a bad tummy-ache after the dinner. *damnnnnn* My rubbish tummy has turned into a precious tummy.

Yes, I'm having ice-cream craze. HAHAHA!

And then the addiction of going out begin. I'm having my brunch outside for the first time after lockdown too. HAHAHA!!~ Oh I miss the sourdough bread at the cafe near my aunt's place at PJ. How I wish I can go back there for brunch.

I found this bunch of books, which I used to read in my schooling days. OMIGOSH! I like this alot. I wonder do they have other series. I'm re-reading this whole series and I still found it nice. Honestly, the art is not very nice but the story line is nice. Or maybe because I like mystery stories. *hmmmm*

Now, I'm trying to complete my income tax file before I go to KL, pick the clothes to bring over to KL and wash them first, as all my working clothes are boxed up; list down what to pack to KL (skincare, healthcare, stocks, etc.) and so on......I will figure it out as it goes. Now thinking of moving again, I'm having a headache. *tsk tsk tsk*
